The sitic team is composed of four community managers coordinating the activities of the communities and supporting the hosts in the organization of Topic Forums and Round-Tables.

 

Kurt Wehrli

Community Strategy & Governance

 

Kurt Wehrli initiated sitic in a research project of UBS/Ubilab www.ubilab.ch with EPFL Lausanne back in 2001. Until 2008 he worked for UBS, heading the IT Professional Training organisation. Prior to that, he developed and managed an IT Information Services department and infrastructure to foster knowledge sharing and change through innovation.

 

In the nineties Kurt led various projects for the former L&G Technology Innovation AG and set up a track record in systems architecture and integration, information management und internet applications. As CTO of the software company Eigner+Partner in the U.S., he was responsible for managing client acquisitions and projects for industrial workflow and product lifecycle management solutions.

 

He is a well-known speaker in the fields of business IT architecture, application and strategic trends, IT innovation, change management and talent development.

 

Kurt is currently responsible for a central services unit of the City of Zurich, and working on his Executive MBA FH (federal approval). He studied computer science at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ETH in Zurich, where he got his master title in 1990. Prior to that he studied mathematics, natural sciences and didactics at the University of Zurich and holds a corresponding teaching diploma.

Dr. Michele De Lorenzi

Community Architecture & Development

 

Michele De Lorenzi studied computer science at ETH Zurich where he received his Ph.D. in 1996. Until 2004 he was senior consultant and partner of a consultancy company for information and telecommunication systems. He was consulting leading major projects in the public administration and the financial services domain.

 

Since 2004 Michele is working for ETH Zurich. First as head of technology exploration of the strategic program ETH World. From 2006 until 2008 he has been secretary of the ICT-Commission, a body consulting the executive board of ETH Zurich about the ICT strategy and the use of ICT resources in all application areas. Since 2009 Michele is Business Development and Public Relations Manager at the Swiss National Supercomuting Center in Manno (CSCS) .

 

Michele De Lorenzi has a long experience in the management of complex IT projects and in the technology intelligence. He is supporting and developing sitic since 2002.

Nicolas Magaldi

Community Architecture & Development

 

Nicolas Magaldi achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in Banking at the University of Applied Sciences in Lucerne. He works as a risk manager in the business monitoring department of a bank. Formerly, he was instructor for computer based building technology systems and head of in-house IT-training.
In free time, he likes to keep track of new developments in the field of science and technology.

 

Nicolas joined sitic in 2009, convinced of the principles of this community.

Luca Previtali

Community Infrastructure & Operations

 

Luca Previtali studied electrical engineering at ETH Zurich where he has been between 2001 and 2004 a system research programmer at the Laboratory for Software Technology.

 

Since 2004 he is head of IT Services of the Department of Computer Science at the ETH Zurich where he is responsible for the personnel and technical management, the strategic and operative planning, and the controlling of the IT infrastructure. Today, his unit is one of the biggest IT Support Groups of the ETH Zurich, and it is also considered to be one of the strongest and most innovative groups.
